The Lure of Guadalajara - Mexico Vacations to Remember

One of the many fun take a vacation to Guadalajara Mexico is that the city is interesting is the bottleneck as things that are fun and inspiring to see and do!

Guadalajara is the capital of the state of Jalisco and is located more toward the center of Mexico to the west. You will also be pleased to know that only a few hours of Puerto Vallarta (weekend travel extra tiny!)

When you are visiting Guadalajara, which may be changed to one of your favorite holiday of all of Mexico, you will definitely want to take advantage of a large number of historical, cultural and sporting attractions in the world famous city has to offer. . . besides the charm!

The city is very modern but still maintain the surprise past the obvious when you enter downtown area historically known as El Centro. While you're traveling through downtown Guadalajara, you will realize that the attraction is very close to each other and easily create a pleasant walking tour (Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes).

The main attraction of the city center and the proud and shining symbol of the city is the Cathedral of Guadalajara. Construction work begins on the Cathedral in 1560 and took more than 50 years to complete! Everytime you walk in you'll find people who attend mass or the many tourists who look with great curiosity in these structures.

Just a few steps from the Cathedral Men and Women in the Rotunda in the state of Jalisco famous. The Rotunda is committed to a selected few, leaving Jalisco citizens are respected for their outstanding contribution to the community. One very famous muralist Jose Clemente Orozco is, who sprinkled the city with a strong and beautiful murals.

Murals of Orozco can be viewed approximately 15 minutes in the CabaƱas Cultural Institute which served as an orphanage when first built. The old chapel in the organization is home to some of Orozco's most famous works in the title of his murals may be appropriate "Man of Fire."

If you are the brave souls who are interested in history, then you might want to consider a stop in Bethlehem Cemetery, El Pantheon de Belen. When you visit a peaceful and beautiful object, you actually feel like you have been transported back in time.

This is a rich history since functioned as a cemetery during a very difficult time of starvation and disease in Guadalajara back in 1785. The old cemetery is to stop functioning as a "working" cemetery in October 1896. If you are a sports fan, you need to see at least one of Guadalajara is the most popular sport, soccer. There are 3 division one soccer team and two stadiums. Even if you are not sports fan you can appreciate the camaraderie and excitement of football games.
