Chiang Mai Temples - Part II

There are over 300 temples (Wat) in Chiang Mai. It is simply impossible to visit them all, and many of them are quite similar in design and setting. Stick with the popular ones and you won't be disappointed.

Wat Jed Yod - one of the most unusual temples I visited this trip. The architecture is very different from other temples - I sensed a strong Hindu influence here. There are some very interesting stone relieves on the walls of the temple.

Wat Phra Singh - it has a magnificent Chedi. A must-see in Chiang Mai.

Wat Phan Tao - this is one of the few original timber temples which have survived.
